Booking & Cancellation Policy

Everything you need to know about making, changing, or cancelling a booking with us.

How to Book

All bookings are made through our online booking platform at breakoutescaperooms.com.au/book/. Select your preferred room, date, time, and group size to complete your booking.

We strongly recommend booking online in advance to secure your preferred time. Walk-ins are welcome if there is availability, but sessions fill up quickly on weekends and public holidays.

Private Sessions

Every session at Breakout Escape Rooms is private. When you book a room, it is exclusively yours. You will only play with the people in your group, never with strangers.

Group Sizes

Our rooms accommodate the following group sizes:

  • Becoming Houdini: 2–6 players
  • Casino Heist: 2–6 players
  • Helter Skelter: 4–8 players

If you have a larger group, you can book multiple rooms and compete against each other for the best time.

Arrival Time

Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes before your scheduled booking time. This allows us to check your group in, store your belongings in our secure lockers, and run through the safety briefing before your session starts.

Late Arrival

If you are running late, please call us on 02 8798 0242 as soon as possible so we can try to accommodate your group.

If your group arrives more than 20 minutes late, your session may be cancelled without a refund. This is necessary to ensure other bookings are not impacted.

Cancellations and Changes

Bookings are managed through our external booking platform. To cancel or reschedule your booking, please use the confirmation email you received when you booked, or contact us directly:

We recommend contacting us as early as possible if you need to make changes to your booking.

Age Requirements

  • Our rooms are suitable for participants aged 12 and over.
  • At least two members of your group must be aged 15 or older.
  • Children aged 10 to 12 may participate when accompanied by a participating adult.
  • Helter Skelter is recommended for ages 16 and over due to its intense atmosphere.

External Booking Platform

Please note that all bookings and payments are processed through our external booking platform. The booking platform may have its own terms and conditions, which apply in addition to this policy.
